ABOUT ME
I am born and raised in Santa Barbara, CA, and I’m grateful to now support my community as a bilingual therapist offering services in both English and Spanish. My introduction to therapy began in my teenage years while navigating depression, grief, and anxiety. Sitting on the other side of the room, I experienced firsthand how healing and validating it can be to have a space where cultural and societal barriers can be unpacked and interpersonal and relational experiences explored. Being listened to without judgment was profoundly transformative, and those early moments continue to shape the heart of my work today.
These experiences inform the empathy, curiosity, and cultural awareness I bring into the therapy space. They guide how I show up for the clients I serve and shape the supportive, reflective environment I strive to create in my work.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting children, teens, adults, and families through life’s challenges. My background includes supporting teens and young adults and mentoring college and first-generation students navigating mental health, identity exploration, and major life transitions.
I have extensive experience working with adults, teens, children and infants, and families around grief, life transitions, anxiety, depression and overall development. I offer parent coaching and individual therapy through a neurodiversity-affirming, developmental, and grief-based lens. My work is grounded in empathy, curiosity, compassion, and cultural awareness.
Credentials
I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, Santa Barbara and have 3 years of clinical experience working with clients throughout Santa Barbara county. I am also a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT).
I take an integrated and collaborative approach to therapy, tailoring treatment to each individual. I blend CBT, DBT, Parts work (Internal Family Systems), Psychodynamic, Trauma-Informed, and Person-and-Culturally-centered methods to create a style that adapts to your needs. Together, we’ll find the approaches that help you feel seen, supported, and empowered.
